This recipes is going along with our pulled pork recipe. I've had a lot of requests for this barbecue sauce recipe, so I am making it available for all of you. This is a very simple and delicious Paleo Barbecue sauce that goes great chicken chicken, ribs, beef, or anything else you may feel like pouring barbecue sauce on, be creative. It doesn't take too long to make and tastes great.
Directions: To start this off you will want to start caramelizing your onion. Wait until you have a nice dark color on your onion and add a splash of white vinegar to deglaze your pan. Now add your mango and jalapeño to your pan. Keep stirring until the fruit and jalapeño are soft and add your honey and vinegar. Take the pan off of the heat and use a submersion blender (if you don't have on you totally should, but you can throw it in a regular blender just be careful, I've ruined many a blender pouring hot liquids in them) to blend all of this together. Once it is nice and well blended add in the tomato puree and all the spices and mix it all together. Put your pan back on the stove top and let simmer for 10-15 minutes for the flavors to blend and add some salt and pepper to your liking and you are finished.
